Hi all,
I'm Barbara, the new Outreach Director at KCP. We are planning to help Kutztown have a great Small Business Saturday on Nov 25th.
Some of the ways businesses can get involved are:
Decorating Contest - Each participating business can participate in our Window/Door Decorating Contest. Customers will be given ballots to vote for their favorite decorations. Ballots will be dropped off at the KCP office. Which business will win the Best Decorations Award
Artists in the Shops - Local artists will display and sell their art is supporting stores. Attendees are encouraged to visit each business to view and purchase the artist's work being featured there. We will attempt to supply an artist for all business that request to participate in this part of the day but cannot guarantee this.
Holiday Scavenger Hunt - Participating business will receive a holiday item (i.e. tin soldier, reindeer, Santa, candy cane) to have in their store for visitors to locate. When shoppers find the item the business will initial their game card. Cards will be brought to the KCP office to be entered in a raffle for a Kutztown gift basket. If you would like to donate an item for our Kutztown gift basket let me know. Our goal is drive foot traffic to all our participating businesses.
KCP will also have a meet & greet photo opportunity with Santa at the Strand Theater, a silent auction to benefit the Strand renovation project which will include tickets to several performing arts productions and holiday movie posters. Berks Ballet Theatre wil be in town to greet visitors as well.
So how do you get involved?
You can contact me at barbaravogelgesangkcp@gmail.com, text/call me at 484-781-3162, or leave me a message here with how you want to be a part of Small Business Saturday. As I get businesses confirmed I can promote them on social media, in a press release to our local radio stations and community bulletin boards as well as local print media. We are also including an ad in everyone's electric bill that will go out mid- November.
So join us as we start the holidays in Kutztown!

MMoexp POE 2: There are a few ways to acquire the Brain Rattler in Path of Exile 2. While RNG (random number generation) always plays a role in unique drops, players have some control, especially if they use POE2 Currency effectively.
World Drop from Mid-Level Zones
Brain Rattler can drop naturally from mid-game zones and maps starting at level 16. Farming areas around that level or running content with a high chance of rare/unique drops increases your odds. Use Magic Find gear or a group with MF bonuses to improve your chances.
Farming Specific Enemies or Chests
Some unique items in POE 2 have better drop rates in themed zones or from specific bosses. If any lore hints or player reports suggest a mob or area related to electrical magic or maces, those are worth targeting. Keep an eye on community forums or trade sites for confirmed drop locations as more information becomes available.
Crafting and Gambling with POE 2 Currency
If you've collected a healthy stash of POE 2 Currency, including Orbs of Alchemy, Chaos Orbs, and newer POE 2-specific currencies, you can try to either:
Upgrade a normal Studded Greatclub using currency like Orbs of Chance or Orbs of Alchemy and then reroll with Orbs of Augmentation or Chaos Orbs to hope for a unique outcome.
Trade currency on the market for Brain Rattler directly from other players. This is often the fastest and most reliable method, especially if the item is not ultra-rare.
Using your currency wisely is crucial. Over-investing in chance rolls can be risky. For many players, buying the item outright with POE 2 Currency is the better bet.
Vendor Recipes or League Mechanics (If Applicable)
Some unique items are gated behind league-specific mechanics, challenge rewards, or vendor recipes. It's worth checking your league content, like strongboxes, expedition chests, or new mechanics introduced in POE 2, that could yield unique weapon rewards.
Keep in mind that new mechanics in Path of Exile 2 may offer alternate paths to item acquisition. For example, some league mechanics might include vendors that allow you to "reroll" rare items into unique ones for a high cost in POE 2 Currency.
Build Suggestions for Brain Rattler
The Brain Rattler is ideal for:
Melee Lightning Builds: Focused on Lightning Strike, Smite, or Shockwave Slam.
Status Builds: Where stacking Electrocution or Shock damage is core to your damage-over-time.
Leveling Builds: Thanks to its low level requirement, high attack speed, and dual scaling with physical and lightning damage.
Pair it with lightning-themed passives from the new POE 2 skill tree and keep upgrading your armor and flasks with your POE 2 Currency to complement the weapon's strengths.
Final Thoughts
The Brain Rattler is more than just a unique weapon, it's a build enabler. From early leveling to mid-game content, it brings a powerful combination of physical and lightning damage with a mechanic that scales over time.
While finding it as a world drop may take some luck, using your POE 2 Currency smartly, whether to craft, trade, or gamble, can drastically increase your chances of POE 2 Divine Orbs obtaining it early and making your build shine.
Equip your character with the right tools, use your currency wisely, and make the Brain Rattler a key part of your Path of Exile 2 journey.
