Visiting Kutztown
Come see all that Kutztown has to offer! Explore our lively downtown area, hike the Saucony Trail, catch a free concert, take in the local art, tour our historic buildings, learn about German and folklife history, discover our multitude of hex signs, and so much more. With ample parking and a walking-friendly footprint, Kutztown is an ideal place to grab a bite, visit a brewery, or spend the day.
Looking for a more extended stay? You won't regret it! Overnight accommodations are readily available and there is plenty of restaurants, attractions, and events to keep you busy.
October is right around the corner, and we have two incredible shows planned for you! Don't miss Grammy Award winning bluegrass artist Sam Bush and his band perform on October 5, with a preshow jam hosted by Berks Fiddle Fest!
Then, come one, come all to the carnival on Sunday, October 23! The Kutztown University Department of Music's KU Orchestra will be performing The Carnival of the Animals, accompanied by bilingual narration (English & Spanish) by Berks Poet Lauriat Anthony Orozco. Be sure to arrive early for our preshow Kids Carnival activities outside.
